As part of our strong project management philosophy, OX Technologies uses a 3
stage network implementation process.
Step 1 - IT Assessment:
This involves a senior OX Technologies’ technician meeting the client to
undertake a full assessment of current IT systems and upgrade requirements. As
part of this process an assessment is made of:
- security risks,
- data security requirements,
- data recovery and retrieval,
- anti – virus protection,
- email and web access requirements,
- software integration needs, and
- hardware specifications
Step 2 - Network Design Proposal:
In Stage 2, a Network Proposal detailing all technical and business
requirements is presented to you. This includes a fully costed budget for the
implementation of your system.
Ox Technologies discusses the proposal with you, making any adjustments to
the specifications prior to your final approval.
Step 3 - Network Implementation.
Following your acceptance of the network design proposal, your designated OX
Technologies technician will work with you to define the scope of work and the
implementation schedule to ensure that the service is provided in the timeframe
and hours to suit your needs.
As part of stage 3 you will be presented with a
- Network Plan,
- Inventory of current software and hardware (incl. serial
numbers);
- Desktop Standard Operating Environment (SOE);
- Risk Assessment and Disaster Recovery Plan; and
- Security Plan (internet, remote access).
This documentation will ensure that you have comprehensive records of your IT
system and its structure. This means that your trained on-site administrator can
access technical details at short notice for IT support, saving significant
staff time and resources and reducing the cost of on-going technical support to
your organisation.
Prior to completing your IT implementation, your OX Technologies technician
will provide administrator training to a designated on-site administrator. This
enables you to complete basic maintenance and administration of the system,
further reducing your need to incur unnecessary external IT support costs.
